The ONE money saving tip you need

Don’t buy shit!

That’s it. It’s so hard when there are shiny pretties everywhere. When something is just so much nicer than the one we have. But it truly is the secret. Don’t go to the store, don’t look at ads, just don’t go there. Gratitude helps. Remind yourself that what you have is good. It takes resources to create every single item we buy. When you think about what was removed from the earth to make it, do you really need it?

Also, don’t buy shit.

By this I mean, don’t buy items of low quality. If you need something, and the need is not urgent, save up to buy ONE item of high quality rather than a cheap P.O.S. from the mega-mart. You’ll buy a lot less, and it will last you longer, ultimately saving you money. It also uses fewer resources to make ONE high quality item than many low quality ones.

Anyone else making this journey with me to stop trying to do all the frugal hacks and just stop buying crap? Let me know in the comments!
