Spiritual Companionship
A Spiritual Companion (sometimes known as a Spiritual Director) is a trained, compassionate listener who listens with the intent of noticing the movement of the Divine.
I think of it this way: If the Soul/Source/Inner Divine/etc. is an aquifer, lying deep underneath all the physical, mental, and emotional stuff we carry, a Spiritual Companion knows how to ask the questions that drill down to that Source. It’s there within you already; I just watch and listen for the cracks it is coming through, and allow it to burst forth!
Spiritual Companionship is not meant to set and achieve goals in the same way coaching is. It is a sacred space for you to explore how the Divine is working in your life. Spiritual Companionship is a ministry that I believe all people should have access to, regardless of financial situation. While I also have to make money for my time and skills, I provide a sliding scale to make it more accessible to people who need it. You can see below to see how much to pay for each session.
$25– I am disabled, a single-mother, or otherwise in a long-term situation where I need the collective to help support me financially.
$50- I am a public educator or I am in a short-term financial bind in which I need companionship to cost a little less.
$75- I am able to pay the standard rate for spiritual direction/companionship services.
$100- I am in a position to help the collective and make it possible for Meghan to support people in financial need.
